How to install Matlab on Ubuntu 14.04

Installation steps of Matlab On Ubuntu 14.04

1.Download the iso image of matlab and past on home directory
and use that First, mount the .iso file of the image with right-click, Open with    and select Disk image mounter (if required).

2.Then install install ''OpenJDK Java 6'' package because MATLAB is not compliant with Java 7.

1.Then you will need to install the "ia32-libs" package before the installation the matlab

2.After that install sudo apt-get update ubuntu then install the
 
sudo /media/MATHWORKS_R2012A/install -glnx86 -v for 32 bit and -glnx64 -v for 64 bit
 
3.Run the installer as a super user
sudo ./install
                                            or
3.Then  sudo /media/MATHWORKS_R2012A/install -v is installed

4.Then popup box of matlab is shown so follow the custom steps..
   and install step by step...use the default folder /usr/local/MATLAB/R2012a.
Create symbolick links to MATLAB scripts in: /usr/local/bin.

after that it install successfully be happy
